Finally everything's over.
Docu was submitted in the nick of time; I ended up labelling it as a PC-only movie because I can't seem to get the audio to work. Later we'll be on the road to Baguio, and oddly enough I'm not too excited about it. The cat would have the room all to itself again, and the house--the dog.
Odd too that I can't seem to be at peace since I have some free time and not finishing some schoolwork with a deadline up ahead.
I did the sketch for the new skin that I'm planning to make this summer; pretty much the reverse of this one--white on black.
Winged and kneeling she'll sit on the left pane while musings run down from her tear-stained dress.
How emo. >_<

morning
I am again reduced to tears.
They are fighting again downstairs; and I am at fault, or rather, my breakfast. Hell, I would've given it anyway. But they have to make it into some grand specatacle complete with shouting matches and fireworks.
Like all fights, it starts out small. Then anger consumes you, swallows you until all you are is anger and the real reason is now swallowed under tears or shouting.
I wish they'd stop.

little afternoon talk
So there I was editing pics for that docu yesterday (yep, already yesterday) afternoon. Since there were at least 5 programs (Photoshop, Firefox with at least 6 tabs open, Limewire, Movie Maker, and of course, around 3 YM conversations) open, the pad was slow. So slow that even erasing takes a few seconds to work, which usually happens when somebody buzzes me on YM.
Which did happen. And that somebody, well, wasn't just somebody.
He asked me to buzz him when the little YM window finally loaded. Which I patiently did; and he asked if the PWboards was down. Since it was down (which resulted in Andrea Celine's name getting changed...told her), I suggested he post in the unofficial Rose-turned-PW boards. Then a few moments of silence, and, well, I can't exactly remember how we got talking again. I think it was about that annoying Zubiri jingle that plays even on NU107, and how I got LSS. Then the male vocals version of the Cranberries' Zombie played on the radio. I mentioned it to him, then he asked if it was rock. I replied in the affirmative, and he remarked that he thought it might be in bossa nova. Haha. Everything fell silent for a while again, just broken by his mention of his class' field trip tomorrow to Pampanga, and I mentioning the forthcoming trip to Baguio which I'm not particularly excited about since that docu still needs to be cleaned up.
He then asked if I saw his other fanarts. Sheepishly replying no, he gave me a link. And they were all so cute...he's miles better at drawing than I am. He liked Summer, well, for the obvious reason that guys like summer. Haha. And he asked what was cute, the drawing or him. I replied, both.
And we laughed.
Then he (a little later on) asked what was I laughing about. I copy-pasted the last few lines, and a few moments later, the evil pixie of disconnect landed on my shoulder and *poof!* I got DC'd.
The next few minutes were spent trying to reconnect to YM. Frustratingly, the YM was the only one to conk out. I was able to login, but had to re-login again simply because everybody appeared offline on my list (even the people on SMS).
And as soon as I had logged in, he had logged out; the little tab on the system tray saying goodbye.
That's why for the rest of the day, my status was "T___T". Oh well.

docu
And I am just so goddamn lazy.
I'm already near finishing the docu, but still can't get myself to do it. All I need to do are those titles for some of the sections, and to get the interviews, ad to finish the edited pics. But I have no brilliant ideas yet for those pics (damn her, she asked me to replace hers, I should've finished two already) and I guess the heat is bogging me down, too--I feel so sleepy.
Maybe a quick 15-min nap would do the trick.

yay!
Yay! I have a new phone, and well, I do still have to get used to using it. lol. Finally a clamshell phone, and with a cam--now I sound so low-tech. haha. Nothing much to write about; still no progress on that paper (last 5 pages! last 5 pages! last 5 aaah!) and still no cam for the docu (damn them). Whatever.

repeat playlist
Silence has fallen on the little YM window as the keyboard keys have stopped clanking. Nothing else can be said, but I am reluctant to end this conversation. And I don't want to ramble on and on and on about me; I want to hear from him. After all these five songs that have played over and over can tell him what I want but can't tell him now. The question is, will he get the message?
5 pages
5 pages more to go on that term paper and I'm done; however, even if I seem to type more coherent and organized paragraphs, it doesn't seem to be getting any longer. Frustrating, really. Maybe this is the sign to get all the magical visual aids again. Or to use the old beat around the bush then shoot technique. After all, what are the odds that he's going to read this?
midnight session
>It's 12.22am and counting. I am chatting away the hours; never mind that goddamn paper, that can wait. All I know for sure is that I may never return to the winged monument in the snowy plains of the moon or the town of paved seas that I have once considered home. After all, everything's changed. It is time to move on, to other realms.

re-write
After disentangling myself from the last remnants of schoolwork (research survey--done, bio exam--done, mp10 comic series--done and some uploaded to my deviant, last exam for deutsch 13--later), I finally have a free time and a shot of inspiration to write here again. After all, only the Pan Pil term paper and docu's left, and that I can probably manage to finish in a little under 1 week. Hey, it's just 12 pages and double spaced. Not that hard.
A lot has happened in the past few weeks--my essay for Youngblood got published last March 15, *YAY!*, reconnecting with old friends (well, old Rose friends, to be exact, but since none of us are playing anymore), pre-enlisting for futsal and Math 2 (again) for summer class, and being such a fan of Coffee and TV's Milky again to the point of making my own from a downloadable template from milkyfan.com. And it won't be long 'til I start playing again; but what? Well, that remains to be seen.
Since we're on the topic of games already, Perfect World is nearly (yep, nearly) here, with closed beta invites being given out and Bry asking if any of us are going to the PW thing at Freedom Bar later. But of course mom had to get in the way (as useless) so I'm not coming. Harsh, haha. And for the sake of that closed beta invite...I'm plugging. Lol.
It might be easier to beg Neo instead for a CD (or just filch the installer files from their shop while no one's looking) but since I might break a rule written in fine print in the EULA (which people don't generally read anyway when signing up for something because of the legal ramblings in it) or sacrifice my pride (which I've only done a few times, one of which when Pau's acct was getting hacked and we were already kissing the cold floor of Eucar to let it go).
I do hope I get in, after all, this is another game (after LOTRO) that I've been waiting for. And many others, for that matter.
Let's just wait and see what happens next.

walong taon
These are the rough sketches for "Walong Taon", my final project for MPs10. It basically goes like this: All text in these pages are the same, only differing in the images, yet telling completely different stories of waiting.
"Walong taon."
"Hinihintay ko pa rin siya."

return
So after a pretty long time, I'm back here posting. I got the invite for the LOTRO closed beta wave 2, but can't play--too laggy due to both PCs barely meeting the minimum requirements.
For the meantime, I'm uploading the first draft for the first page of my MP10 comics; entitled "Walong Taon".
(it's just a shot from the digicam; bear with me, still no scanner).
